Profiles are these to make the message board a more interesting place to meet other fans. They are entirely optional - many board members have wanted this sort of thing for a while, but if it's not for you, then you don't have to use them. Only Olivia's policy is that personal information on the board should be under your control.

Please help us maintain this policy in your own interest. Follow the instruction given below as soon as possible, ideally before you post for the first time.

Only Olivia recommends that you check the box marked "do not display my e-mail address with my profile or post". This is highlighted in yellow below.

That's it. It stops the board listing the email address you gave us to get your password on your posts. We have provided an alternate location in your Additional Personal Information profile for you to show where you wish to receive email if you want to. If you use this alternate location note that is not affected by the "Do not display my email address" command highlighted in yellow. You manage it in Additional Personal Information.

Additional Personal Information is a nice way to share some trivia about yourself as an Olivia fan with other board members. You can list more information about yourself, your favorite Olivia songs, and a photo should you want. You can change this information at any time, and you can look at other members profiles from the link on their messages. Use of this facility is optional and entirely at your discretion. Use as many or as few of the fields as you wish.

Some suggestions before you edit your profile -

We recommend that you don't list street address, home phone and other individually identifying information since this is a public Internet forum. We don't demand that you use your real name - a handle is fine. Do not misuse this facility to impersonate other people or give a false impression.

Only Olivia reserves the right to publicly disclose identity misuse or impersonation to protect the interests of other Board members and to suspend/revoke offending accounts and messages.
